We have been married for almost 20 years and have experienced our greatest joys and pains and highest ups and downs together as husband and wife. We have been each others’ anchor, and have found a way to remain grounded in love in just about every situation. As crazy as it may sound, we got engaged after living in separate cities at the tender age of 25 when we were just digging into new careers and academic pursuits. Despite the randomness of it all, we blew all cares to the wind and took a leap of faith to be with the one person we both felt that we could not live without, each other.

Fortunately, our faith and shared belief in “family over everything” has been the cornerstone of our marriage and has led us to creating this card game as a love letter to our children and grandchildren. We wanted to find a way to make sure that they are not blinded by love and that they have the tools they need to understand their partner and their partner’s values, beliefs, temperament and capabilities before and during marriage. As a result, we compiled a long list of relationship questions and shared them with several couples to help them see the raw truth about marriage. After several successful focus groups; we decided that making our questions available electronically as well as making them available as a deck of cards would be the perfect way to share our hope of love and lasting relationships with not only our family, but with the world.
